Nadi Marketing Charitable Giving Policy
Nadi Marketing is committed to environmental stewardship and social responsibility through our structured charitable giving program. As a member of 1% for the Planet, we pledge to donate a minimum of 1% of our annual revenue to environmental nonprofit organizations that align with our mission.
Our giving strategy prioritizes local San Diego organizations and initiatives that create measurable environmental impact, with a focus on ocean conservation, climate action, and environmental education. We seek to establish true partnerships with aligned organizations, offering not just financial support but also our marketing expertise, strategic guidance, and collaborative efforts to amplify their mission and maximize their impact in advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals we support.

As a company dedicated to environmental stewardship and consciousness,Nadi Marketing is committed to bettering our home planetthrough both internal sustainable business practices and promoting sustainability within our partnerships.
Sustainable Vendor Partnerships
Nadi Marketing prioritizes working with vendors who share our values of social and environmental responsibility. We actively seek out and support sustainable, BIPOC-owned and women-owned businesses for our service and supply needs. We look for vendors with verified environmental certifications such as 1% for the Planet membership, B Corporation certification, and California Green Business Certification, as these demonstrate verified commitment to sustainable practices. By choosing vendors who demonstrate commitment to ethical practices, fair labor standards, and environmental consciousness through both their certifications and actions, we create a supply chain that reflects our values while supporting underrepresented entrepreneurs who are making positive change in their communities.
Virtual Office Stewardship
Operating as a virtual business, Nadi Marketing maintains comprehensive environmental policies that guide all business operations. We prioritize the use of environmentally preferred products and practices across all business activities, from choosing energy-efficient equipment like our E-bike for local transportation to selecting sustainable office supplies such as rechargeable batteries and secondhand monitors purchased from e-waste recycling centers. Our e-waste disposal policy ensures the safe and responsible recycling of electronic equipment through certified e-waste facilities, preventing harmful materials from entering landfills. We maintain a curated list of eco-friendly vendors and suppliers that meet our sustainability standards, making environmentally conscious purchasing decisions for all business needs. Additionally, we implement sustainable practices in daily operations, for example our digital-first workflows that minimize paper consumption and reduce our overall environmental footprint.
Low Waste Events
When hosting events, Nadi Marketing is committed to maintaining as small of an environmental footprint as possible:
We actively encourage public transportation to/from events, and we always provide attendees with ample information on how to access these events through environmentally conscious transportation options
We host our events at Ocean Friendly Restaurants (as established by Surfrider Foundation) or BIPOC-owned businesses, or women-owned businesses
All events provide refillable water options, encouraging attendees to bring reusable water bottles to avoid unnecessary waste
We minimize single-use materials and prioritize digital communications over printed materials whenever possible
Commitment to Local Communities
Nadi Marketing is deeply committed to strengthening our local San Diego community through intentional business practices that support economic resilience and environmental sustainability. We pledge to source at least 50% of our non-labor expenses from local independent suppliers, prioritizing San Diego County businesses that share our values of environmental stewardship and social responsibility. Additionally, we dedicate at least 75% of our client services to local independent businesses and organizations, ensuring our expertise directly contributes to the growth and success of our community's entrepreneurial ecosystem. By keeping our economic impact local, we foster meaningful relationships, reduce transportation-related emissions, and help build a more sustainable and interconnected business community that benefits all San Diego residents.
